Course Description: Instruction on navigating the Internet on HUD websites for Q & As, handbooks and resource info, discussion of new FAQs, Market Conditions Addendum,  Foreclosures, New Construction,  Property & Site Analysis, Repair & Inspection Requirements,  Comparable Selection, Appraiser Independence, Appraisal Portability and Validity Periods,  1004 D Update/Completion Report,  Field Review cases, Manufactured Home Requirements, Common Deficiencies and Errors, Appraiser Review and Sanctioning Process, FHA Appraiser Roster

Course Instructor: Andy Blake, Housing Program Specialist, Jackson, MS HUD Field Office, out stationed from the Atlanta Homeownership Center.  Mr. Blake is a Mississippi Certified Residential Appraiser who has worked in FHA’s Single Family program since 1990 performing duties such as performing appraisal reviews, property inspections, complaint resolution and providing guidance to appraisers and lenders on program requirements.  Mr. Blake has conducted extensive training and seminars for appraisers, lenders, builders, inspectors and realtors on FHA programs for the past 20 years.
