I am excited to announce that Glen Bright, a certified residential real estate appraiser from the Doddsville, Ms., Sunflower County, has been appointed by the Governor to the Mississippi Appraisal Board.  Glen will be replacing Nita Griffith.  He is an activist in that whenever he sees a need in the appraisal industry, he steps up to the plate and does whatever is necessary to meet that need.  He was instrumental in the establishment of a MLS system in the Delta, was very active with our ad hoc committee that addressed the BOP legislation in the state Legislature last year and is very supportive of our efforts to form a statewide appraisal coalition.  He met with us at our first organizational meeting in September.  Glen's email address is above and one we all should have in our email address books.  Congratulations, Glen.  Your appointment is truly an honor and an asset to the appraisal industry in Mississippi.
